My first POST from Amsterdam

o we're in Schiphol, Amsterdam at the moment at a "communications centre". The trip's been good so far, and I'm finally recovering from the stress of the last 2 weeks.As the weight of varsity and leaving my home town (and everyone in it) fades, a new feeling of excitement is welling up :) And in about 3 hours we'll be off on another 8 hour flight to new york, new york - land of hotdogs and taxi cabs and other stuff too. KLM airlines is not very impressive - tiny quarters, and a communal tv very far away. But I slept most of the flight anyway, and the food was surprisingly good...
And I guess that's pretty much it for now. The site is still under construction, and for now you can't respond to our posts. Jon will probably only get round to it when we're settled in Montana, which will be in about a week or so. Photo's will be up shortly, so keep checking for updates.

Think I'm gonna go try find an exit and experience the 1 degree schiphol weather outside. And maybe a choef?
The cigarette warnings here are so funny - well in a morbid kinda way - for example "Smoking will cause a slow and painful death". We were surprised to see people just waltzing around casually smoking in the airport. Such a silly novelty to experience...
